Anyone else ready for this cold weather to be gone already? I can't wait to have our Texas heat back, I'm ready for those spring and summer days! 

Today on the blog I want to share this denim look. I love a high waisted denim skirt, it is such a great basic staple piece to have in your closet. This lace up frayed black mini is everything! What I love most about the denim trend is that you can really pair it with anything! You could tuck in a muscle tee and throw on some sandals as well as easily transition this skirt to fall by pairing it with a sweater and ankle booties.  It is always going to be more flattering to tuck tops into your skirt rather than wear them out, so no matter what top you wear with your skirt, tuck it in. I promise- your waistline will thank me!
